My sessions are relaxed and personal, with room for genuine expression rather than forced poses. Whether I’m photographing your family, a graduating senior, or the dog who has become part of your family, my goal is to create photographs that feel like you.

Field Portraits are created for sporting dogs, working dogs and the people who share their lives—photographed naturally in the places where they are most themselves.
My own dogs are what inspired this work. I know how much personality, character and history can live in one dog—and how important it is to capture that faithfully. These sessions celebrate the dogs we know by heart, whether at home, in the field or alongside the people who know them best.

Before your session, we’ll talk about who you’re photographing, what matters to you, and where you ultimately want to enjoy your photographs. From location and clothing to the finished artwork, I’ll help you plan a session that feels natural and distinctly yours.
Your session itself is relaxed and unhurried. I’ll guide you when you need it, while leaving room for the expressions, interactions and personalities that make the photographs feel genuine.
And your photographs don’t have to end as files on a computer. I offer finished artwork designed to be enjoyed—beautiful wall portraits, albums and carefully selected prints.
