Meet Elizabeth

Photographer. Storyteller. Rancher at heart.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at the ranch—with Rich and our Griffons, working on one creative project or another, or simply appreciating the place we’re fortunate enough to call home..

I believe the photographs that matter most become part of the way we remember our lives.

My work has always been about more than making a beautiful image. It’s about preserving connection—the people we love, the animals that become family, the places that shape us, and the seasons of life we wish we could hold onto a little longer.

I’ve been behind a camera for 40+ years, photographing people, horses, ranches, weddings, and the milestones that become part of a family’s story. Over time, I’ve learned that the photographs we treasure aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. They’re the ones that bring us back—to a person, a place, a horse we loved, a season of life, or a home filled with memories.

My life in Northern Colorado has shaped the way I see and photograph the world. I live on our 44 acre ranch with my husband, Rich, and our rather large pack of dogs, surrounded by open land, wildlife, and the kind of changing light that still makes me reach for my camera.

Horses have long been one of my favorite subjects to photograph. There is something about their strength, movement, and quiet connection with people that continually draws me in. That love of the Western landscape and equine world eventually became an important part of my fine-art photography.

But people and their stories have always remained at the heart of what I do. I’ve photographed families as they’ve grown, high school seniors beginning a new chapter, couples on their wedding day, horses whose personalities deserve to be remembered, and homes and properties that have stories of their own.

That’s really what photography is to me: preserving what matters before the moment passes.
